Snaps are powerful abilities that can instantly destroy any target. They are the main method of acquiring Ash.

Snaps are effectively 'Gauntlet Ultimates' and function similarly to Offhand Ultimates, requiring the player to say one of the Snap Phrases in the game's chat to activate them.

Snap cooldowns - as with all Ultimates - are reset whenever the player dies or respawns in any manner, be it joining the server or equipping something.

Snap Phrases

Snap Phrases are NOT grammar- or case-sensitive. They are said without quotations in-game.

  • "I am inevitable."
  • "I'm sorry little one."
  • "You should’ve gone for the head."
  • "Fine, I'll do it myself."
  • "I hope they remember you."
  • "Perfectly balanced, as all things should be."

The Snaps

There are three Snaps in the game, each with different targets:

Blip

5 minute cooldown.

Blip Snaps all nearby enemy NPCs, instantly turning them to Ash. It has no cutscene and does not affect players.

Blip can be used multiple times without affecting the cooldown of Decimation.

Decimation

—"With all six stones, I could simply snap my fingers, and they would all cease to exist. I call that mercy."

30 minute cooldown.

Decimation Snaps half of all NPCs and players in the server, rewarding a great deal of Ash. Players unlucky enough to be Snapped will be kicked from the server.

Uniquely, Decimation immediately comes off cooldown the moment a player obtains their sixth Infinity Stone.

Endgame

—"As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be."

12 hour cooldown.

The Endgame Snap disables all currently-running servers, including private servers.

The twelve hour cooldown does not work like the other Snaps. It is not reset by death unless it is already off cooldown. Effectively, a player needs twelve hours of total in-game-time in order to Endgame Snap.

This Snap has a unique phrase:

  • "The sound of silence."
