The Infinity Stones form the foundation of the game's combat, with each having a Passive, Ability, and Ultimate (and Hiraeth, although these are unlocked much later).

Obtainment

Infinity Stones periodically fall from the sky at the Spawn Map. A cutscene will play if the Stone that spawned is one you don't already have. New players get to choose a Stone to obtain for free during the tutorial.

High-level players gain the "Fission" passive ability, spawning additional Stones whenever they collect one that was spawned by another player, either through Adams or Robux. One extra Stone is spawned for every hundred levels a player has.

Once a player has all six Infinity Stones, they gain the ability to Snap.

Capabilities

  • Passives: are applied to the Gauntlet moves [Z,X,C,V] at random, selected from the Stones you have in your Gauntlet.
  • Abilities: "Prime" the Stone that is used, increasing that Stone's capabilities.
  • Ultimates: cost Carat to activate, preventing their use if you don't have enough. When an Ultimate is ready, a small 'u' will appear in the top right of that Stone's number.
  • Hiraeth: are unique Stone abilities obtained by forging the Ego Stone.

Abilities, and Hiraeth are activated by pressing the number of each stone. Ultimates require the buttons to be held briefly then released.

Ego Stone

[[File:The Ego Stone.png|thumb|220x220px|The Ego Stone appearing in "The Source" at the end of Conquest.]]

  • The Ego Stone is a special Stone obtained by winning Conquest. Alone it does nothing, and is considered 'Raw' - the player must take the Stone to the Forge safely where it can be made into a Hiraeth ability, or to Baima's Well to start the BAIMA battle.
  • The Ego Stone may also very rarely spawn instead of a regular Stone. this also works with Fission.
  • After winning Conquest, the winner is granted a speed and defense buff to help them make it to the Forge or Baima's Well.
  • If the player is killed while carrying the Raw Ego Stone, they will lose all of their Stones and the player that killed them will gain positive Blight (Corruption).

Trivia

  • The in-game names of the Stone Ultimates share names with the tracks from 'Exul', a 2023 album by the band Ne Obliviscaris).
  • Stone Cutscenes can be disabled with the "t@cutscene" command, which is available for everyone.
    • This does not disable manually-spawned Stones or other cutscenes such as Mini-Boss spawns or An Invitation's meteor.
